Danny - OKAAAAAY, this project is not going awesome-ly, but we are getting everything done. I have to edit some stuff, which I should be doing but instead I am blogging. Do we even need another blog? I don't really know, I didn't count.. am I doing this for nothing? Oh well too late. I THINK we have enough things on our website. I don't know.. I just want a C- for this class. I really don't want to take Pre-cal again. I'm pretty sure I can get my grade up... I have 60% now, and we have the final, this project... another exam.. but then again that Part two midterm is bringing me down... so are the all or nothing quizzes... and I have a 0% in discussion because I didn't "Verfity This!" ... haha -__- Anyway, I'm done blogging forever

Myly - Of course everyone would be completing their project last minute. Struggles here and there. Sleepless nights. Communication and working with the group is hard. I finished putting together the magazine, but I had to improvise on binding it. This project is almost over, thank god.

Myly - I am so stressed out. We do not have all of our articles finished, but I want everything to be done by tonight. Does not look like that will happen. We still need to do our third video, and Danny is still trying to put together the second video. Plus, math homework has been very tedious, and it gets annoying because you have to write out so much. I have been up pretty late the past week to try and get things done. This is so tiring, I cannot wait until May 8.

Caitlin - I didn't go to school today, and right now I'm working on my article + the real life applications of trig. Well, to answer one of the sample prompts that you put on the project rubric: I wished we had some more time on trigonometry since I found it really difficult. I had the most difficulty in solving/verifying because I couldn't see  what I could have done to simplify the problem, and I needed more practice.

Myly - The days that we have left to work on our project are slowing decreasing. I have been working on the horoscope, which is hard to come up with. And I also have been working on our website. I was not sure on what things we should have on it because my group didn't really reply to my texts or messages through Facebook. We need to finish up by Friday, so we could bind it at Kinko's. This project is really tiring.

Myly - Danny wrote the script, and he split up the script among us to record. We only have a week until the project is due, and there is still a lot to do. I think we are still planning on going to Kinko's to bind our magazine together. That is pretty much it.

Myly - It's finally the weekend. This week felt short, but nevertheless, we still need to work on our math project. Danny wrote the script for our next video, and we plan on recording our voice separately then send it to him to put the video together. Today, we talked to Mr. Niazmand about our previous articles and asked for some advice. In my opinion, it was very helpful. I would have asked sooner, but I was kind of scared. The two quizzes that were given this week brought my grade up just a little bit, but anything is better than nothing.

Danny - Soooooooo, today we are supposed to meet and talk about things we need done, like the 2 videos and all the other fun things in the project. The calculus we are learning is not that hard but I'm scared for next year. I had Mrs. Guttal for geometry and she told me she better see me in calculus.. so.. I don't know. I just want school to be over.

Myly - We planned on meeting today, but right now we are not really sure on that. We are texting each other back and forth to see when the ideal plan is for today. Right now, our main concern is finishing all of our articles. Quynh is turning in the next article for Monday, and all she needs to do is to type it up. Caitlin had troubles on her articles, so I told her I can just do the second one. Danny is out of town, and I am not so sure if he can make it. We still need to finish our other two videos that we have not yet planned out. Wish us luck! We will need it.

Quynh - today is the last day of star testing, I feel so relieved that it's over. We've met a few days this week to discuss about the last two videos which will be finished by thursday next week. Since start testing is over, I have time to start my second article. Everyone in my group is working hard to make the project the best it can be. Danny is planning out for the third video. Myly is busy, making horoscope and details for the website with the help of Caitlin. hm... I guess i'll get back to my article now, goodnight everyone !!

Myly - The plan is to meet up on Sunday at Quynh's house with all eight articles finished. Hopefully we all could stick to that plan. I have already finished the classified part after Caitlin, Quynh, and I talked about it on Tuesday. We also started on the horoscopes, but it was pretty hard relating it to math; so, we decided we can come back to that later. On the Sunday we are suppose to meet, we should film our next video. However, we need to come up with an idea first. It's been a tiring week with star testing and all of that. Math part of the star test was pretty easy though! Danny should be turning in the next article this Friday. With any luck since he was sick, he should be able to finish on time. Anyways, it is 2:32 AM, staying up with Loc (he said to mention his name, haha) and finishing up homework. About done with that, I thought about blogging because we needed some more blogs this week. That's pretty much it, good nights.

Myly - Just found out that I got a 9 on the first article. Not going to lie, it made me kind of depressed. Mr. Niazmand said to expand it more or do something different with it, but I have no clue on what else you could do with the Pythagorean identities. This project is pretty stressful, and I really hope my group starts to finish their articles by this week. The video was also on the same topic, so I'm guessing we got a not so great score on that, too. How sad.

Danny - I've been sick all week, which sucks, but hopefully I can do things to contribute to the project. I will take this time to rant about Pre-Cal. There once was a girl who asked me for help on her trig homework. The teacher she has, who will go unnamed, gave her a worksheet and was a section behind us. The problems were the easiest problems ever, like the examples in the book. She always has trouble with her trig and always asks me for help, which I give her. She has an A or a B with her teacher, and I have an F...

Myly - Our group needs to get it together. We lack communication, and that is a big and important part for a group project. We need to also get organize and plan out what to do. I couldn't sleep last night until 7AM, and I woke up at 2PM. Between the hours for 5-7AM in the morning, I laid in bed and began thinking of ideas for our magazine. I hope my group is okay with the ideas, the more the merrier. I know it is easy to get lazy and procrastinate because I do that too, but this a big project and is worth a lot. Let's get our work done! I'm about to do the video after Scott drops off my microphone that he borrowed. I hope I know how to function it to do a voice over.

Myly - Caitlin and I are currently at the MLK Library. It has a really nice atmosphere. Caitlin is currently working on her article, and we are going to plan out our video soon. Quynh is not able to come today because she has no ride, and Danny said he does not feel well and that he is sick. I hope he feels better. Even though it is pretty bad for us to be starting our video this late, we have all been pretty busy this break. I already found some comics and stuff for the magazine. Pretty funny stuff. I'm not sure how to cite it like how Mr. Niazmand would like it. Maybe I should ask for clarification.

Caitlin - This break has been a busy break, but I was occasionally struck down by the procrastination gods, so now I'm rushing to do everything. Oh god. Well, I'm around 60% done with my article, but I have no idea how to really proceed with it. It's hard to teach something right, I guess, because I keep second guessing myself. While doing the video we'll also be checking each other's articles, so I guess that'll lift some of the burden. But anyway, we have already decided to meet up at Martin Luther King Jr. library. I haven't been there yet, but I heard it's really large. I dug up my Mom's library card since I heard that we might need that for to enter, since I lost mine around six or five years ago. We've decided on maybe doing a powerpoint while recording our voices, since nobody has a video camera that we can use.

Quynh - Another friday 13th has gone by, nothing has happened yet. I am taking a break right now and i think i can squeeze in an entry or so. We were supposed to meet yesterday to film a video, but it turned out that something was up so we agreed to move the plan to saturday. I dont know what the video gonna be about. We havent really discussed about it. Anyway I will try to contact my group and try to figure out what we will do tomorrow and what we need for the video. Im soo lost ><... goodluck to those who take the ACT tomorrow 

Myly - Yay, I finished one of my articles! Our group was suppose to finish an article each by last monday. I was caught up with relaxing and other things during break though, but I finished it at least! I'm still unsure of how the article is suppose to be like. Is it pretty much a "how to" kind of writing? Well, I just pretty much wrote an explanation on my topic. I also finished a game for the magazine. I suppose today was a somewhat productive day.

Caitlin - For some reason I'm really liking the derivative stuff we've been learning, but maybe because it's the easiest thing we'll ever learn. I forgot to write the notation on the side for the quiz we took today. Ugh, guess I have to learn it the hard way. Well, that's basically how you learn anything in your class. At least I was doing most of the work the right way, so I guess that's improvement... right? Anyway, for the project we already assigned ourselves what topics we're going to cover, and we might meet up at a library to make a video. I guess one of the real challenges about this project is actually organizing all of the work and all of the responsibilities.
On a side note, Easter Sunday is coming up. I wonder if that means you'll be eating those Cadbury Creme Eggs.

Quynh - Yesterday I talked to my group and got the part that I will be responsible for in the over the break. I have been worried in the past few days because of the horrible score i got on the midterm part 2, However i know there's nothing that i could do to change it, what come will come. Now the only thing i need to focus on is the big project. I will start the article tomorrow and meet up with my group over spring break to make a video. Since I have never blogged so this is all i can say. Anyway goodnight everybody.

Danny - Mr. Niazmand said that Google Sites was simple but I don't get it. The site looks terrible right now and I don't know what I'm doing. Also, I kinda want to tell Myly that "Trig or Treat" sounds weird, but I'm scared. But if you're reading this right now Myly, I think it's pretty creative and cool.

Myly - What?! No homework today?! When Mr. Niazmand said that we had no homework today, I started to think to myself that it was just a joke. But it wasn't... =) So, the next thing I thought about was to blog this. Anyways, our group did not really start on anything yet but we're planning to get most of it done our spring break. I hope things will work out in the end. I wonder if the articles that we are going to write can be any style.. not use those simple "how to.." ones. Hm.. blogging still feels weird.

Myly - Oh, check this out! With much Google-ing and exploring, I finally learned how to edit this blog-spot. How exciting! I think that was enough to take in in one day. =)

Caitlin - It's strange using blogger, but I guess you adapt to it at some point. Like how we (try) to adapt in your extreme pre-calculus class. To me, it's the equivalent of running a 7k marathon in the pouring rain with a bad cold and a broken ankle. I guess that's what slacking off in Algebra 2 gets you. I guess that's what slacking at all gets you. As for our project, we've decided to start on the articles first and save the videos for a later date. I still have to get over some awkwardness with my teammates, but I'm sure that'll subside. For the articles, I think we're slowing getting on by, but I think some of us have an idea of what to write. I'm thinking about writing about the foundations of trigonometry, but I'll have to run it by my teammates (or is the term "groupmates" more appropiate?) first.

Myly - It is almost 12:40 AM, and I am on my bed typing this post while eating gold fish snacks. Horray for a three-day weekend! Finally, a mini break! NOT. I always get so paranoid when thinking about this math project and how we have to get three blogs done by the end of this week. I guess we are off to an alright start. Caitlin, Danny, Quynh, and I decided that we will each write an article over this weekend. But first we have to go over who is doing what. I'm not sure if any members in my group are good with the computer designing/layout stuff. As for me, I barely have any clue on making our blogging website nicer. Guessing, we will keep it nice and simple. Well, who knows...

Danny - I am talking to my other partners and I don't really know what is going on. I don't even know if I'm using this site correctly. I haven't even heard one of my members speak before. Anyway, today in precal was horrible because I got one wrong on the all or nothing section. So I got 63%. Hurray. I keep getting 60%'s on my tests. So my grade won't go up. I have an F and this is one of the only classes I try in. I'm sad.

Myly - Oh that feeling as you see Mr. Niazmand passing back the tests dramatically and slowly. No just kidding, I'm exaggerating. I was really scared to see my score, but when I did, I was disappointed. If only i got that last reference angle problem right! Anyways, whatever happens, happens... can't do much about it. This is weird blogging because I never blog. And, I am currently trying to type with correct capitalization and such. Our whole group exchanged numbers, and we began to discuss matters.
